texte = In Australia there is no STANDARD form for mailing purposes, technically, you only need the street address plus the postcode. That is the beauty of postcodes, it tells you which postal area within the country. Strangely I have never had any mail addressed to anywhere in the world returned to me because I have not addressed it as per that country's convention ........ I agree with you that the Text Area approach is almost useless, certainly for record keeping and data analysis.
