The more I think of it, the more I feel like keeping the "WebDNA for Dummies" more or less the way it is - perhaps add one or two more chapters, but that's all. The main objective of the primer should be to wet people's apetites and give them some instant gratification - features that are useful and extremely easy to implement on a site. After that initial stage a linear progression doesn't seem to make that much sense. Independent articles, script libraries etc. etc. would probably be much more useful. These don't have to be located in the same place - in fact there are several very good reasons why they shouldn't - but they ought to be interlinked. There already are lots of WebDNA resources on the internet, but they're just so hard to find. What we need is a WebDNA Resource Sites Directory. I've made a rough draft at http://www.website-helper.com/programming/webdna/directory/index.html I'm not going to fill it up with links yet though - I'd like some feedback about the hiearchal structure first, and also I want to see if anyody else is interested in running it. I'm just a musician, not a programmer, and maybe I should stick to my music sites. ;-) Frank Nordberg http://www.musicaviva.com http://www.tablatvre.com http://www.mandolin-player.com http://www.blues-harmonica.com http://www.irish-banjo.com http://www.blues-banjo.com ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
