It's a real stress to have, having to be maried to a server that is giving you problems! I want to say this again, to you and to anyone experiencing issues with server problems... and I think you guys will find that I will not usually repeat myself, but I understand the frustration involved here: It is on a priority list to not only take a look at potential existing performance issues, but then, to take a more general look at the ability to troubleshoot performance problems within WebDNA. We *will* be able to do, at least, some real performance testing for 6.1. However, again, we are just now getting the I.P. and setting up the company. It is highly likely, that a software product that has gone unsupported for a couple years, may be prone to problems, especially if it is running with any unsported variables... OS, WebServer, etc.. So we will do our best to work on those potential aspects as soon as we can set up our dev team. Patience please! We hope you will see that at least there is a future! ;-) Lastly, if you are sure you are running with 100% supported software and hardware, I suggest posting to the list. There is a lot of knowledgable people here, I think, that may be able to help! I manage quite a lot of WebDNA installs, none of which are giving me performance problems right now. I know many current WebDNA users who are also running relatively trouble. Also, as a person who has worked with webDNA for many years, I can honestly say that most performance problems are based off of bad code, and can eventually be worked out. Remember, its always a good idea, when reporting problems to the list, to supply some background info. Include Platform, OS, WebServer info and the versions of all of the above, plus the WebDNA vers.. Donovan -- Donovan D.
