We have the servers on auto restart and it still keeps happening. It's not a Mac issue.I dread seeing "webDNA not working" - it is like a plague on us now, a Godzilla that keeps attacking, night and day!!!!I hate having customers calling and complaining, demanding refunds and screaming at us when this happens time after time. We have customers selling millions a year on webDNA - they and we can't afford this. As we all know this just started a few months ago so SOMETHING happened. We didn't do anythingIt has been so weird to have to say no more webDNA sites after we have built hundreds of them. It feels and sounds weird, we have been such advocates for so long.We just can't put our business at risk, nor can we afford to spend thousands of dollars trying to figure out what's wrong. I hope this gets solved, but I don't have much hope.BobBob AtchisonPresident/Creative DirectorPallasarthttp://www.pallasweb.com101 Laurel LaneAustin, TX 78705512 469-7454fax: 512 233-2672toll free: 866 513-8916On Jul 2, 2008, at 4:51 PM, Donovan Brooke wrote:Bob Atchison wrote:> We have this problem constantly still and it drives us nuts. It's a realstress to have, having to be maried to a server that is givingyou problems!I want to say this again, to you and to anyone experiencing issueswith server problems... and I think you guys will find that I will notusually repeat myself, but I understand the frustration involvedhere:It is on a priority list to not only take a look at potential existingperformance issues, but then, to take a more general look at the abilityto troubleshoot performance problems within WebDNA. We *will* be able todo, at least, some real performance testing for 6.1.However, again, we are just now getting the I.P. and settingup the company. It is highly likely, that a software product thathas gone unsupported for a couple years, may be prone to problems, especially if it is running with any unsported variables... OS, WebServer,etc.. So we will do our best to work on those potential aspects assoon as we can set up our dev team. Patience please! We hope youwill see that at least there is a future! ;-)Lastly, if you are sure you are running with 100% supported softwareand hardware, I suggest posting to the list. There is a lot of knowledgablepeople here, I think, that may be able to help!I manage quite a lot of WebDNA installs, none of whichare giving me performance problems right now. I know manycurrent WebDNA users who are also running relatively trouble. Also, as a person who has worked with webDNA for many years, I canhonestly say that most performance problems are based off of bad code, and can eventually be worked out. Remember, its always a good idea, when reporting problems to the list, tosupply some background info. Include Platform, OS, WebServer infoand the versions of all of the above, plus the WebDNA vers..Donovan-- Donovan D.
