He's the one who has to figure out how to make WebDNA install and run on multiple systems, not me. FYI I always run Ubuntu on the VPSs I get from my hosts. I never use MacOS or Windows, and I don't even use any other Linux versions. This keeps my life simple, and it lets me remain an expert in my personal (yet very narrow) choice of software packages. So I'm sorry if you think I can help you, but you're wrong because I cannot. However, if you get an Ubuntu 17.04 VPS running the latest Apache and WebDNA I might actually be able to help. > It's very easy to understand the little "click" you all > have ... We do not have a clique. Whether you accept it or not, the fact remains that this talk list has shrunken dramatically from its heyday 15 years ago and its character has changed a lot since then, too. Back then everyone was gung-ho on WebDNA and there were LOTS MORE OF US here. Things have mellowed since then, but I get the impression that you are not able to recognize or accept these changes ... :( My personal guess is that there are fewer than 50 subscribers on this list, and only a handful are still running their own servers. And since there are practically no WebDNA hosts running Macs any more, it's no wonder you're not getting answers to your questions about your Mac servers. I honestly do not understand your attitude here. You're so impatient that you ask the same off-topic questions not once but twice -- simply because you seem to have it in your head that someone here knows the answers but is unwilling to help you. I do not believe this for a minute, but apparently you do, which makes me wonder: Can you accept that your beliefs might be incorrect? Can you accept the possibility that there is no clique here, and instead you are simply trying to demand answers from people who are not able to help you? > and I'm sure that's why the software never took off and the > same few people here from 15 years ago!
