I was actually serious when I said I'm glad you're happy with your approach. Look, there's no need for you to get a VPS just because many of us find them to be far less work and much lower cost. But if we truly believe that a VPS might be better for you, we would be real jerks to not suggest one, correct? Here is my basic point: If you already have a system you're comfortable with -- and if it works well for you -- you should not have to change simply because we think you might be better off with a different solution. BUT AT THE SAME TIME: You CANNOT expect us to be able to help with your configuration problems on an old Mac-based hardware system when the rest of us switched to Linux-based VPS systems a long long time ago.
