I deal with smaller clients (Average cost of site $1000) and these clients have little or no knowledge of the web and other options that they might have. When they do have knowledge in the case of the your client, I can see where telling them what type of database you develop in is important.I hope I have not offended you, nor anyone on the list with my ignorance because I am a small developer.
