Sorry, I hate to be that frustrated guy, and I certainly hit =a high point last night, but this has been a strange few days of things =just breaking down and falling apart around me (friends dying, =relationships ending, vehicles breaking down, and so on). At any rate, =I still really like WebDNA and just lost my patience. =20Last night though, I did get a setup with Ubuntu 11.10 working with =WebDNA7 (replacing the libssl.so file) just fine with the same =configuration I was using. I was not able to reproduce the funky =database behavior.=20So I do believe that there is a real problem with this build on Ubuntu =10.4, and was not due to user error. There were no special =configurations with Linode either as far as automatic replicating and so =forth. The configuration I provided was completely verbatim. And =again, the problem wasn't "installing" WebDNA, it was a bug in the =behavior of it. =20I like using Ubuntu + Apache. Setting up virtual hosts in this =environment is intuitive and comfortable for me.
