The installation process relies on the position of directories,=20 apache user, dependencies version, and each LINUX OS has his own=20 formula for this. Moreover, each LINUX OS might change the formula=20 from one version to the other. Apache Software Foundation will also=20 change the rules from time to time. We have to adapt and we provide=20 installers for the major LINUX distributions. However, from a=20 distribution to another, the changes oblige us to make slight=20 installer modifications. Making installers intelligent enough to=20 detect that there have been an upgrade, from LINUX version X to LINUX=20 version Y is doable, but not financially viable. You can do the=20 installation yourself, as basically, installing WebDNA server is a=20 matter of permissions (always), SELinux (annoying), a connector and a=20 module (built for a specific LINUX version) and http config, with a=20 single formula that would work for every installation if apache=20 config remained consistent, which is not always the case. Upon=20 request, we can provide the connector and module. Or we are always=20 willing to help and many of you know that we always bring quick=20 support when requested. You sound = like you=E2=80=99re in my situation. Need to have MySQL and WebDNA 6.2 = for Windows 2008 is something they want to get away from. =

 

Good thing I = am on Cloud. I just reinstalled 8.5 thinking I must have missed = something and it worked for you.
