Could very = well be a firewall problem, something in the back of my head is reminded = about port 3306 on standard Ubuntu installs being = blocked.
Remember to reboot after you make any config = changes.
Getting = closers. WebDNA 8.02 is installed on Ubantu = 14
WebDNA = works=E2=80=A6 but connecting to remote MySQL 5.7 is not. = Either is remote MySQL 5.6.

The code works perfect on my Window2008 WebDNA 6.02 = server when calling an external MySQL 5.6 = server.
