That is an entry-level system.Maybe I misunderstand your email but I think there is a mistake in your calculation.A NEW customer needs to host a solution that you made for them on their server. So you will sell him a Partner Edition for $495 for one domain.Even if he needs more domains, lets say 4 domains in total, then he needs to shell out another $150.Even if the customer is a BIG customer then the unlimited version (worth if your customer has more then 20 domains) then they will be glad to pay $1495 since that is really cheap for WebDNA.I think this is not such a bad deal for new customers. For existing customers it is another story. There we have to shell out some more money then we all expected, but I think the money will be worth it. The 5.x version really features some cool new tags. I mean you can go with the Partner Edition, if you donıt need any CMS (btw: our CMS is proven over 3 years now and going strong:-)) or any other fancy stuff then this is the best solution and keeps the price down.BUT, SMSI definitely needs to remove the sub-domain limitation.Sincerely, Nitai Aventaggiato CEO-- Tools to energize your business Content Management & eBusiness SystemsComputerOil GmbH http://computeroil.com/ Unionstrasse 4 info@computeroil.com 8032 Zürich/Switzerland Tel: +41 (0)43 333 1 555 ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
